Iced Coffee
For some reason, this just tastes so delicious, rich and decadent to me. I just make a small cup and sip it for a mid-afternoon treat or after dinner.
makes about 2 cups concentrate
4 teaspoons instant coffee (I use organic decaf) 3/4 teaspoon white powdered stevia 2 cups water heavy cream to taste (optional - note heavy whipping cream has virtually no carbs--half and half and milk do have significant carbs; cream, of course, does have calories) - Dissolve the instant coffee into the cold water.
- Dissolve the stevia into the coffee and chill.
- Serve poured over crushed ice, topped with cream and a sprig of mint, or simply in a small cup with cream.
