Replace plastic and paper bags with?

Question

What should we replace plastic and paper bags with for our doggie walks outdoors and our home indoor garbage cans?

DEBRA'S ANSWER:

BioBags!

These bioplastic bags are made from corn and are completely biodegradable.

They have kitchen bags, lawn and leaf bags, pet poo bags, shopping bags and more. If you don't find them at your local natural food store, you can order them online.

COMMENTS:

I believe Cellophane bags can also be used to store food in freezers, without leeching chemicals into the food. I have an organic hobby farm, and store fruit and vegetables in these bags for winter use.

COMMENT FROM DEBRA: My personal experience with cellophane bags is that they don't hold up very well to use or water. I would think they would break down fairly rapidly in the freezer, but have never tried this? Has anyone actually tried cellophane bags in the freezer?
